This project was developed with one goal: To simplify managment of tournaments (sports, gaming, etc). Born out of personal frustration attending a tournaments where court assignments are not always overheard, Tournament Commander solves this problem via real-time notifications and much more. This customer had previously developed an iOS application to provide British Firefighters with useful information in the field. This includes information on rescue equipment, checklists, and much more. We developed an Android application to access the same data source, making the data available to a wider audience.
We set out to learn a new graphing library and chose to take openly available dallas police incident records and provide interactive displays for analysis. We just happened to learn some interesting facts and have some fun along the way! For instance - Dallas Love Field has the most personal injuries on public property of any area. And it is no suprise to learn the most lost items turned in occurs at the Dallas State Fair!
One of our clients needed the capability to bind vendor information with a custom map presentation. We took it one step further and provided the capability to update the map content with minimal effort.
